What if I told you?

What if I told you that you don’t have to wait for permission to be creative?

What if I told you failure was part of the process of creativity–a part that you can’t and shouldn’t avoid?

One of my biggest internal roadblocks when expressing myself is waiting for the right time. Waiting for someone else to tell me: now, Rose, you can be creative. Waiting for someone to magically appear to bring me my creative inspiration.

You know what? I’m still waiting for that other-than-me permission to create. I’m still waiting because it’s a myth that someone else holds the keys to my creative expression.

I’ve had to take ownership of all aspects of me and realize, I am the one who holds the key to my creativity. Knowing this, feeling this sense of ownership, is one of my greatest strengths.

Owning my unique creativity makes all the bits and pieces of my life make sense in a new and beautiful way.

So, dear one, tell me today:

What is it that holds you back from flourishing in your creativity? What do you feel like are your blocks from being fully all that you can be?

I am here to help you find creative freedom. If this is the first time you have found yourself on my site, please check out these articles that I’ve curated just for you to  see exactly what I’m talking about when I speak of creativity.

If you are in the Asheville area, please join me on April 19 Own your Creativity session. This is a women’s discussion group that will dive into creativity and taking ownership of our creative birthright. Click here for a link to register.

I can’t wait to hear from you and to dive deeper into your personal sense of creative freedom.
