Happy Holidays

Here we are at the first day of Winter. I love this day, one reason being that the promise of more light during the daytime brings a sense of excitement to my mind.

The Winter Solstice feels very magical to me.

To reflect, I’ve been sick this week which halted my plans for finishing up my work before the New Year, staying physically active before the Holidays, sending out Christmas cards, attending Holiday parties, and a whole list of other things…

Yet, life continues to exist without my over effort; recognizing this has been a huge revelation to me in getting over that my type A plans are the only way to accomplish anything.

By no coincidence, I came across this quote a few days ago:

“We must be willing to let go of the life we planned so as to have the life that is waiting for us.” ~ Joseph Campbell

This quote comes as a great reminder for the Holidays and the dawn of the New Year.

Make room for letting go,  for things to not go according to what you had planned.

Your life is waiting for you in a way that is extraordinary and unwavering, no matter what plan you, how you complete your to-do list, or gift packaging you choose.

Make room for your life to grow, and you will see it prosper and thrive through the action of making space.

Create beauty in your daily activities in order to see that your life is a gift, and that is the greatest gift of all.

May you be spacious, free, and at ease, now and always.

You all deserve each special minute of your beautiful life.

Happy Holidays, and I’ll see you in the New Year ~
