I’m excited for you to have this glimpse of what it looks like for me to create art, and to process tough emotions while doing so.
Learning to cope with your emotions is the key to feeling at place in your life, your body, and your soul.
I’m not the first to tell you that, I’m sure.
Yet, coping with our emotions is out of reach for some reason.
Maybe we don’t have the right tools to understand our emotions.
Maybe our tough emotions have served us by being motivating in the past.
Maybe we are too freaking busy to pause and take care of our emotions.
I know, I’ve been there.
As you’ll hear in this video, I’m there.
Here’s what I desire from your experience of this video.
For you to have 30 minutes of uninterrupted self-care
For you to gain insight into how the creative process works for one person (me) in order to cultivate inspiration in another person (you)
For you to feel ease as you create along with me.
For you to listen to the reflective questions I ask in order to cultivate more compassion for your life.
What you’ll need in order to watch this video and make art with me:
1. A pen, pencil, or whatever medium you’d like to make a mark with.
2. A sheet of paper, canvas, or whatever substrate you’d like to make your mark on.
3. Or nothing besides your eyes, ears, and open mind…there’s plenty of dialogue to keep you engaged even if you don’t make visual art.
