New Year, Same You (why that’s a good thing)

It’s the new calendar year, have ya heard?

I’m a fan of starting new. Each day has it’s own beginning and ending cycle that baptizes us to start again, within a 24 hour cycle.

So here we are in the new year, and resolutions galore are happening. Vision boards, words of the year, goal setting – the energy of starting fresh is palpable.

Yet, there’s one thing I want to drive across in this blog to you today.

It’s a new year, and you are the same you – and that’s a good thing.

I’m all about self-improvement. Heck, I’m pretty sure that’s the industry I’m in here as a coach and blog writer.

Yet, the whole: new year, new you theme gets to me.

What I read in those words are: you better commit to change now, or else you will lose the opportunity.

What I also read in those words are: you aren’t good enough, so it’s time to become a new you.

Here I stand, from my office desk to your screen and say:

You are enough.

Your experiences matter.

You don’t have to become a new person in order to live a good life.

You can be who you are, every day, and experience your world as ever increasing.

You matter.

So, my dearest, I invite you to take a moment to say thank you, to commit to whatever you want to for this 2018 year, and take a breath.

I’m me, I’m here, and I’m valuable.

Happy New Year, love.

In honor of your new year thoughts and musings, I’m doing something new and exciting.

There’s a waiting list happening for my one-on-one sessions, but if you need a bit of coaching, I am doing recorded video Q+ A. Check out this page for more information to sign up today!
